If your smartphone is not configured with the network settings. Internet connection will not work on your number. Or a few more causes can be, If you are in a roaming area, Enable SIM Data roaming from mobile network settings or it can be your internet data services disabled.
Android smartphones support only two types of network GSM & DMA. When your smartphone tries to connect with the GSM network. It uses the General Packet Radio Service, or GPRS, to transfer data to and from the network. If your Android phone is unable to transfer data over a GSM network, turn on the GPRS in the device’s configuration settings.
Idea 3G/4G GPRS Internet Setting and Configure APN
If your network setting is not configured then you can request to your network operator for Idea GPRS internet data settings. Idea customers can get Idea settings by sending SMS, type “SET” and send it to 12345 to get the Idea 4G data settings. Also, customers can visit the Idea official website URL and enter your mobile number to receive the Internet settings on your number. Now save all the settings as the default and restart your mobile.
If you have followed the above steps after all your internet connection is not working, it might be your data is disabled. You can enable data service on your number by sending SMS type “3G” and send it to 54777 or call on the Idea customer care to enable this service.
